Hello everyone!
I know it’s been a couple of weeks, but I swear I am alive. I’ve been in Florida for almost three months now, I literally can’t believe it. I just wanted to give an update on my program so far, including some of the highlights. I spend most of my time working at the Starbucks in EPCOT. Its definitely a lot more fast paced than I’m used too but my coworkers are wonderful, and they make the location a fun time.
As a cast member, there are cool things and experiences I get offered. I get a pass into the parks, and I’ve been going as much as I can. I’ve done a lot of solo trips to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, especially to ride Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. I’ve been trying to do things on my own, and it’s been a lot of fun. I’ve gone with friends and by myself. One day I did three parks in one day. My friends and I rope dropped Magic Kingdom, park hopped to Hollywood Studios and then I closed out EPCOT to watch Harmonious, which I think is the best fireworks show. I’ve also done some cast member exclusive events such as riding Guardians on National Rollercoaster Day, doing a backstage tour of Jungle Cruise, and cast member exclusive shopping events. One of my highlights has been seeing Joey Fatone from *NSYNC at Eat to the Beat for the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. I am a HUGE *NSYNC fan and it was so cool to see him, especially when he brought our Christ Kirpatrick. I lost my mind! As we get closer to October 1st, EPCOT’s 40th Anniversary, I’m looking forward to being an EPCOT employee for the anniversary.
My best friend Tammy came to visit, and she got to go to EPCOT for the first time and we saw Big Time Rush in Orlando. My sister is coming to visit so we can attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. I’ve also had the opportunity to stay on property which has been super fun. The All Star Resorts are very cute and at a really good price point.
I still have so much time left and yet I feel like its flying by so quickly. I hope to have some more posts up soon.
Until next time!
