Crochet Instagrams to Follow

Hello everyone!

This week I wanted to hype up some of my favorite crafter Instagrams. I find so much inspiration from these people and wanted to share them with you. They aren’t in any particular order, but you should definitely check them out!

Let’s get into it!

Designs by Key

I found Key through Love Craft’s instagram. They were spotlighting crafters and she was mentioned on their insta stories. Out of curiosity I checked out her page and found patterns I was totally interested in making. Her off the shoulder crop top was the first crochet garment I made, and it was so wonderful and easy to follow I proceeded to make three. Key recently did a collab with other Black fiber artists and Black owned yarn companies called the Bloom Collection. Each designer paired with a yarn company that dyed and specific colorway for the collection. Her Zinnia top and Third Vault Yarns colorway, Sakura, are beautiful. She has a blog with free patterns, patterns for purchase, and helpful tutorials. Everyone should totally check her blog out!

For The Frills

As you can tell from my multiple pattern reviews for her blog, I absolutely adore For The Frills. Grace’s patterns are super easy to follow and are all super cute. I have so many of her patterns I still need to make. I’ve done at least five of her patterns and have managed to convince my friends to use and buy her patterns too. She has quite a few patterns that I haven’t done yet that are on my project list. Some of her patterns are free on her website or are available to download on her etsy shop. I’m not going to lie; I personally prefer the pdfs because I can write on them on my iPad which makes counting rows and rounds much easier. I love her style and I recommend her patterns to everyone.

Panstitchual

My absolute favorite craft Instagram would have to be my best friend Tammy’s craft account named Panstitchual. She’s the best and incredibly talented. I don’t think there is a craft that she’s picked up and hasn’t mastered. She quilts, crochets, knits, sews, and embroiders. Lately she’s really stuck to knitting and even recently made her first sweater. Plus in addition to all of her wonderful crafts, she posts stories of her very adorable cats, Crowley and Lila. She’s wonderful and definitely deserves a follow.

Sewrella

In a completely unsurprising note, I have included Sewrella on this list. I absolutely adore Ashleigh and her blog. I’m obsessed with her yarn company and own a ridiculous amount of her products. I recently reviewed her shawl pattern and I own quite a few of her other patterns. I actually have colorways from most of her recent collections that will eventually become a blanket for myself. She hasn’t updated her blog recently; due to the fact she’s expecting twins and runs a growing business. The patterns, recommendations and tutorials that are on her blog are incredibly helpful.

I follow a fair number of crafters, mostly crocheters and knitters, who make the most unbelievable crafts, but it really comes down to preference. I think it comes down to preference on designs and aesthetics. These women are all wonderful in their own unique ways and I truly enjoy their content.

Until the next post!
