Hello everyone!
This post is specifically for Amy of Authentically Amy Reads. She and I were talking about my Nancy Drew book collection, so I thought I’d make a dedicated post on it with all the titles I have.
Let’s get into it!
I’ve loved Nancy Drew since I was a kid. It was the first book series that I really latched onto. I remember going to the library with my dad and finding “The Secret of the Old Clock” on the shelf. I couldn’t tell you which ones I have and haven’t read, my local library at the time didn’t have all of the books. I was such a big fan I did my first research project ever on Carolyn Keene and learned all about pseudonyms and ghost writers.
As a kid and even now, I really enjoy the Her Interactive Nancy Drew games. My sister and I have spent many nights and weekends crowded together at the computer playing these games. Except for Midnight at Salem which deserves its own post. But if you guys are interested, I can rank which titles are my favorite. Just let me know!
However, I wasn’t inspired to start collecting them until I saw “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” on Netflix. In Lara Jean’s bedroom she has a ladder shelf piled with both Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books. I saw it and thought why hadn’t I been doing that too? There are a couple caveats though. I’m only buying used books from second hand stores. I also try to find the older copies, I don’t mind the wear and tear.
There are 56 original titles published from 1930 to 1979 which are the titles I’m focusing on. The list below is all the titles I now have.

I received 20-30 as a Christmas gift from a friend but all the other titles have been from small owned book stores and thrift stores. There’s just something about Nancy Drew that is so nostalgic to me. Nancy Drew was truly the first literary character who made me believe I could do anything.
Until the next post!
